Some days...

Ever notice how some days are better then others when a loved one is gone? I can be having a perfectly fine day and one song or smell or object can send it down hill fast. It's so hard to kick the separation blues when society teaches us from a young age that after marriage a husband and wife live and grow old together. They are rarely apart. In the military life, though, that's just not the case. It's our normal to be together one day and apart for days, weeks, or months the next. We're expected to carry on and live life without the person we married and expected to grow old with. We're expected to understand and not complain. So what do you do on days when you just can't stand it anymore? You write in a blog :)

Hey! thanks for returning the follow! I really like your layout too!! I'm new to blogging as I'm sure you can tell. I hope to learn how to do all that extra stuff like you have on your blog. For the life of me I can't figure out how to add the military spouse blogger link. I look forward to following you as well! :)

  1. Hey thanks for checking out my blog! It means a lot to know that people are actually reading. I know how you feel, hang in there. I'll be thinking about you!

Thanks for following my blog. Yours is great! While my husband was gone I hadn't started my blog yet so I kept a journal, that helped. I want to have it printed and give it to him. Also, some days when I would get mad, I would go out to my car, put on music, and drive and cry and scream and then roll the windows down so the cool air would help me relax. It always made me feel better. I hope you're having a good day today!

You're welcome. Thanks for following mine as well. :) I've thought about doing a journal. There is just somethings you can't write online that you need to get out. I haven't gone on a drive yet but, I have cried more while he's been at his 3 week AT then I have in awhile. I guess it's because the deployment is getting closer. But, it suprisingly helps getting it out. Hope you have a great day too!

  1. Some days are better, but they never get easy. At least for me that is how I have come to realize my life now is.
My soldier hasn't been gone long (0verseas now) we have a very long time to go in this deployment.

I've learned that blogging does help to a degree. It seems to be all that gets me through this some days.
Good luck to you in your deployment, if you ever want to talk look me up.
